The “Iguanas” at Coffee de Los Mayas are absolutely amazing. It’s the perfect amount of caffeine to get you through a busy afternoon after having lunch. And if you’re lucky, like me, you’ll even get a friendly barista who will sing while making your coffee. Can’t beat that! Thank you for the great coffee and the beautiful tunes. I’ll be back for sure!

Our days started out early and Coffee de los Mayas was great because they opened up earlier than most. The cappuccino was delicious and the cold brew was strong but smooth also. A great start to my days there. They also have a loyalty program, so don’t forget to get your card stamped! I highly recommend this place!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Coffee de Los Mayas in Cayo! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the coffee rich and flavorful, and the service absolutely outstanding. A special mention goes to Barista Ronnel, who made the visit even more memorable with his friendly personality, professionalism, and genuine passion for coffee. He took the time to recommend the perfect brew and crafted each cup with care and skill. If you’re in Cayo and looking for a cozy spot to relax and enjoy excellent coffee, Coffee de Los Mayas is definitely the place to be. Highly recommended!

Coffee de los Mayas is basically your Starbucks in San Ignacio—reliable coffee, familiar favorites, and an easy place to sit and recharge. It’s located along a main stretch of shops and restaurants, making it perfect for people-watching. Between locals and tourists roaming by, you’ll also see plenty of dogs casually doing their own thing and friendly cats that are completely comfortable saying hello to strangers. The vibe is relaxed, the quality is consistent, and it’s an easy spot to linger for a while with a good cup of coffee. And if you mention (3LM Depot) to the right employee, you might even score a sticker.

Good sweet strong coffee with non dairy options! We went back on our trip more than once. Recommend the Rezz would not recommend the nektar energy drink it tasted like an espresso tonic which was not my thing.

I was in San Ignacio for about a week and I came here everyday except the day I left because I had to leave early to catch a plane. The coffee was some of the best that I've had in my entire life (and I like trying out different cafes). I also tried the Bojack (Signature Drinks category). I would ask about it before you try (I don't exactly remember all of the ingredients). I believe it had 4 shots of espresso, chocolate, sugar... I think also milk and vanilla. Very tasty, but you will not sleep afterwards!

This place is always so good! Great recipes and variety. However if Donovan (the curly hair super welcoming barista) is not there, the customer service is never the same. He brings life to that place and makes all the drinks with love. I got a blended drink today and let’s just say I was chewing Ice and the service was cold. We love Donovan and maybe he can give some tips to his coworkers on Customer service. Still love this place and will keep going back, just some food for thought.
